Deborah Scott-Douglas

Deborah Scott-Douglas is Interim President of Joule and Vice-President, Innovation at the Canadian Medical Association (CMA). As Interim President for Joule, Deborah will seek to create synergies in innovation across the enterprise, leading the design and implementation of innovation strategies and projects in support of our strategic plan, CMA 2020. Deborah has held a series of leadership roles within the CMA enterprise where she provided oversight and leadership to the Physician Leadership Institute, CMA’s publishing group, health science accreditation and a clinical reference service for physicians. With a focus on social innovation, Deborah is a key lead in CMA’s work in transforming the association to an agile organization. Deborah is a volunteer mentor in the Christie Lake Kids (CLK) Leadership in Training program which works to build leadership skills for at risk youth and sits on the CLK Board of Directors.
